I specialize in nontraditional students:  older, women, LGBTQ, among others.  I also only teach a few students at a time so that I can work with you at the pace that suits you and can give you the attention you need to make progress. 

I teach under "Part 61" of the FAA rules, which means that I can set my own syllabus and can teach you in whatever order makes sense for you.  

 Private Pilot License Requirements:

• Be at least 16 years old to solo.
• Be at least 17 years old to earn your license
• Be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Obtain at least a 3rd Class Medical Certificate.
• Receive and log ground training from an authorized instructor.
• Accumulate and log 10 hours of solo flight time.
• Pass an FAA Written Knowledge Test.
• Pass a Practical Test with an FAA examiner where your aeronautical knowledge and flying skills will be tested
